🐉 : I picked up those puzzles on a 2 hours HTTYD : THW event organized by Toys'R'Us named "Dragon Trainer Unite!". I first went at the one located in Laval with my boyfriend. Near the store entrance, there were tables with little chairs for kids to sit on while coloring drawings of HTTYD characters and making one of those puzzles given to them by the employees. The employees hardly believed me when I said I wanted to participate (you can always be a kid in you heart, even at 20 years). When it was finally our turn (slow kids), my boyfriend and I decided to make a contest of who will finished his puzzle first. My boyfriend won but just because I had annoying kids near me putting their puzzle pieces near mine... In addition to the puzzles, we got take and tote bag giveaway. We quickly checked the HTTYD toys section to see if there was something interesting to buy before going to the other store located in Boisbriand. We wanted to go there to participate again to the event but the ambiance was really different when we arrived : we had to go in the back of the store to see where the even was happening and the tables were empty of kids, which was nice. There was only one employee sitting there and coloring dragons while waiting for participants. It was a bit embarrassing first but then we started talking with the employee about the movie, why it was my passion and the time I worked at Toys'R'Us too in 2017. My boyfriend and I made the contest again, we draw a bit and we realize each package had a different model code to identify which puzzle was inside. I was able to have the 4 models of puzzle thanks to this discovery. Only a little girl with her mom participated at the event too. When it was over, I asked the employee if I could take the rest of the puzzles. I came back home with like 8 puzzles. What a day ! In 2021, I gave my extra ones to my dear HTTYD collector friends : Holly, Kayla and Tobias.
