🐉 : I C-A-N-'T B-E-L-I-E-V-E I H-A-V-E T-H-I-S I-T-E-M I-N M-Y C-O-L-L-E-C-T-I-O-N ! On March 2020, me and my new Toothless collector friend from France created a Facebook group with HTTYD collectors we knew. Since this time, 5 of us chat together every day and we helped each other a lot finding items we wanted and even dreamed of having. This ultra rare, stunning and beautiful Stoick statue is one of them. When I woke up the morning on July 15, 2020, I had the surprise to know that my friend from Australia bought this item for me while I was sleeping because he knew it was the rare item I wanted the most. This would never have happened without the help of my dear HTTYD collector friends and especially of the Australian one, so eternal thanks to all of you guys !
I kind of associate Stoick with my dad because they were both protector parental figures and they all now rest in peace in Valhalla. So, first, having an official statue of this strong character in my collection is really an achievement ! Secondly, for the same reason, having this item in my collection is a tribute to my dad because he has many similarities with Stoick (he was a sensible and protector dad with a beard) he liked resin collectibles (he had beautiful bobbleheads and loved fine art like statues) a, as my dear friend Holly from UK pointing out. So, this statue is for sure #1 in my top 10 most favorite items in my collection (even if one horn and a tiny part of the sword arrived broken and that I don't have the box) because it's a beautiful, precious, detailed and extraordinarily rare piece to have since it was given to the members of the crew who worked on How To Train Your Dragon 2. ❤️

🐉 : It was a big and lucky hazard that I discover the existence of this amazing statue of Toothless. I was searching on Google for a statue of Sauron's Mask for my father and I clicked on a quebecer website called Imagination Hobby. When I wanted to find the section of the site where the statue was to show it to my father, I accidentally clicked on the section "Others". There, I saw "How To Train Your Dragon". I clicked on it and started yelling "OMG, OMG, OMG an authentic Toothless statue is still available!". 30 minutes later, the statue was ordered on the website and approved as beautiful by my dad.
First, I was supposed to receive it at the end of 2017, but I finally received it in March 2018. On one hand, it made me sad because my father was dead at this moment, so I couldn't thank him for the statue anymore. After all, I find its existence because of him indirectly since, if I hadn't looked for his Lord of the Rings statue on Internet, I would never have found my magnificent statue of Toothless. So, thank you very much, Dad !
On the other hand, I was soo happy to finally have my statue in my hands. I almost cried when I received because I was soo much happy to finally have it in my hands. Thanks to Hobby Imagination for the great and unusual service I received : it's not every day that an employee of a store would deliver a collector's item directly to my home even if he lives 20 minutes from me !
This statue is gorgeously beautiful, but also really special and precious to me. 🖤

3. Because I didn't found this item on eBay but on... Facebook Marketplace while searching for HTTYD items near London in UK !
This glitter globe is really stunning : the removable top in the shape of a viking helmet and the base which seems to be made of stone are soooo detailed ! The globe itself is really cute because of Toothless and Hiccup are in it. Those two are again so nice and quite well made and detailed considering their small size. Toothless' smile is adorable and funny!
I'm so glad and grateful that the seller accepted to post this amazing glitter globe to my friend Holly, especially since it was during the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm even more grateful again to Holly for accepting to receive the item to her home and to send it me when the crisis will be over. I'm pretty seller the would have never accepted to ship this item to in Canada, so thanks a lot Holly for allowing to have this super cute rare item ! 🔮

Yes, yes, you read that right : 3 tiny $ USD ! I immediately contacted her by offering her instead 5 $ USD for the efforts that shipping would require and she accepted !
Since 2 years, my Christmas tree was already decorated on the theme of HTTYD with my keychains used as ornaments and my viking Christmas village full of my Playmobil, but it will now be the most beautiful of all for sure ! 🎄

I was sorting through these old magazines and it was while leafing through one that I came across this poster.The magazine dates from 2010 as the poster was there to promote the release in theater of the first How To Train Your Dragon movie in theater. Technically, it makes this poster the first HTTYD item I got in my collection... without even realizing this fact back at this time, because I have started to be interested in this franchise only in 2014 !

🐉 : Those posters are sooo precious to me ! My boyfriend print those official images on quality paper at his job. Thanks to him, I was able to bring those wonderful posters at the event How To Train Your Dragon : A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Toronto International Festival Film (TIFF), where Dean DeBlois and Jay Baruchel gladly sign them at the end of the event ! Someone even ask me rudely : "Hey, where did you get those posters?" then he asks a question to Dean (witch was not allowed after the Q & A session) when it was MY turn with him to sign the posters. OMG I can't tell how mad I was after this person who hadn't wait her fucking turn to talk to Dean... She ruined my chance to only say to him : "Hey, hi, I'm from Quebec too and I'm really proud of what you accomplish as a Quebecer". Despite this annoying annoyance, I'm still SOOO happy to have meet Dean and Jay in real life in addition to get signed posters from them !
